Have been ordering from Topsail Road Pizzeria for decades.  Despite numerous owners, they have stayed true to the recipe (mostly) that deserves the five stars given!

Cheese, pep, bacon, green pepper... well done!

I used to be a 5 star on Topsail Rd pizza. Grew up in the west end and ate my share of it. In recent weeks/months they have changed something. Definitely not the same as it was, and is now what I'd classify as a generic poor pizza with their classic premium prices. Topsail rd was always on the expensive side but you always got that quality taste. I'll likely never order here again (maybe one more try in a few months to see if it's gone back to the way it was), there are far better and cheaper options now that the recipe is not the old/classic one. Pity.

This is an exceptional pizzeria among so many samey offerings in St. John's. Excellent dough, extremely tasty, savory sauce, high quality cheese and toppings in general. An excellent touch is that (most of the time) instead of using a plastic "table" to keep the box lid away from the pizza, they use a little "bun" of pizza dough that's actually quite tasty. Most of the time, I get a really good, fresh pizza, but unfortunately delivery can be quite inconsistent, and since they don't seem to use thermal bags, I've had a few cold ones delivered.

The unfortunate part really is the inconsistency. It really depends on the time of day and the driver whether or not you get a truly great pizza or a cool, merely average one. The upshot is that the pizza reheats really well with a minute in the microwave followed by a minute or two in the toaster oven. But when the prices are as high as they are here, you'd really expect the pizza to be consistently prepared. If you want a consistently piping hot pizza, go ahead and pick it up yourself instead of having it delivered.

My search for great pizza in St. John's continues. This place was ok, but I've found better elsewhere. It would have received 2-stars, but the garlic fingers they had were quite good, so I bumped it up to 3.
Either way, I don't plan to go back.
